Name: West Town Webinar: Workers' Compensation & COVID Claims
Date: March 10, 2021
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CST
Event Description:
  • In 2020, the Illinois General Assembly enacted legislation creating a rebuttable presumption for front line and essential workers that contract COVID regarding such being contracted in the course of their employment.  This presentation will outline this legislation and what that means for current employers of essential and front line workers—how the employer can help overcome the rebuttable presumption and assist with initial investigation for COVID-19 in the workplace claims
  • If you have any specific questions that you want answered, please email them in advance to sbemer@westtownchamber.org.
