Name: Workshop: How to Prepare for Chicago's New Food Code
Date: August 22, 2018
Time: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM CDT
Event Description:
Effective July 1, 2018, the City of Chicago implemented new requirements that all food service establishments must follow. These requirements are based on the latest science, conform to federal guidelines, and to State and local laws.

To help owners, operators, and managers of food service establishments become familiar with these new requirements, the Chicago Department of Public Health is hosting a number of trainings. The West Town Chamber, Logan Square Chamber, Wicker Park-Bucktown Chamber, and Alderman Moreno's office have come together to co-host a workshop with the Department of Public Health closer to our neighborhood.

Workshop Information: During this workshop participants will have an opportunity to learn how these new requirements will change the inspection process, obtain written information and templates to help participants comply with the new requirements, and ask questions.

Please take the time to register via Eventbrite, as there is a limited amount of space.

For a complete list of these new requirements for food service establishments, visit the City's website at: https://www.cityofchicago.org/city/en/depts/cdph.html
